1-2-3 Easy Knitting

Are you curious about double knitting? At the Michigan Fiber Festival, an all day workshop on double knitting will take place.  The class is number 106 on Wednesday August 17 at the Allegan County Fairgrounds, Michigan. In the class we will work on methods of double knitting and start a scarf project and hat of your own design. The hat above is made on size 6 needles with worsted weight yarn. Swatch samples will determine the size of the hat you want to make. Get those creative juices and double it up!

Project for Michigan Fiber Festival

These mats are double knitted. They have opposite colors on the back side. I will be teaching this fun technique at the Michigan Fiber Festival on Wednesday August 17. It is class number 106. The double knitting means that you will be working stockingette stitch in two layers so the mats are stockinet in the knit side on both sides of the mat. We will start with the drink mats of your own design then work on a scarf and start a hat. This is a fun class if you are ready to add some color to your work.
